Dear Atlas,

It’s me, your Dad.

Your Mom and I are having one of those days, the kind I hope you get to experience in your life: priceless moments, laughter, connection, and true intimacy.

We both want a lot of wonderful things for you, Atlas. We’re going to do our very best to create an environment where you can thrive—as your own person.

It’s starting to really sink in that you could arrive in our lives at any moment now. Stranger things have happened. However, I do hope you come as planned and arrive in your best health.

I really can’t wait to hold you. I’m going to fall in love with you as soon as I see you . . . I just know it.
